Festival of Fire is a family-friendly street food festival focused around chefs and vendors who cook using fire – either directly or indirectly. The main attraction of the event will be fire and barbecue pit-cooking as well as championing the use of unique, custom-built structures to produce incredible cuisine for all dietary requirements.
The second purpose of the event is an environmentally conscious drive to raise awareness of the growing damage that deforestation is doing to the world’s natural woodland and forest resources. In this vein, we’ll be partnering with the charity Size of Wales.
The three day festivals will be taking place in numerous locations across the UK and will see event sites transformed into a beautiful, fiery landscape, with the audience invited to enjoy the sights, smells and tastes of open fire cooking.
We’re thrilled to announce that we’ll be working with Walk the Plank on this ambitious project. Walk the Plank is a Manchester-based events company that specialise in firework displays and creative projects using fire.
They have worked with some of the largest festivals in the world, and in their partnerships with a variety of councils over the last ten years have developed some incredible and unique projects and attractions that have attracted tens of thousands of audience members.
