The Monthly Round-up: September

As always, it has been another busy month at Street Food Warehouse. Whilst our summer street food calender has begun to wind down until next year, our winter calender is only just starting. We’re busy organising upcoming winter events and starting to book in next years festivals. Here is a shortlist of our favourite moments from September.

  1. Assembelly and Paternoster Farm in the British Street Food Final.

Having hosted the first ever Welsh heat of the British Street Food Awards during August in Milford Haven, we’re absolutely thrilled that two of our delicious Welsh street food vendors made it to the final in London this September. Massive congratulations to both Assembelly and Paternoster Farm.

      2. Pembrokeshire Street Food Festival Vendor Applications.

Following on from our hugely successful Pembrokeshire Street Food Festival, we’re heading back to Tenby for our third year. We opened vendor applications on the 14 September and had over 90 applications! The shortlist has been confirmed, and we can’t wait to start announcing in the new year.

      3. Welsh Cheese Company Partnership.

We have partnered up the Welsh Cheese Company to bring you the cheesiest of events; House Of Caws. Unlike most cheese festivals where you are invited to try cold cheeses. Our event will be oozing with the finest regional cheese, provided by the Welsh Cheese Co, with vendors selling both hot and cold cheesy goodness. House of Caws is heading to Swansea’s Unit 19 on the 26/27 October; this is an event any cheese lover will not want to miss.

      4. Meeting with the Liberty Stadium, Swansea.

We met with the Liberty Stadium to discuss some new and exciting upcoming events in both the Liberty Stadium and Cardiff City Stadium, so watch this space.

      5. Travelling the breadth of the UK.

We have been busy this month travelling up and down the country. We’ve visited many different towns and locations, and we are in exciting talks to start some new events and festivals throughout the UK.

We’ve got a new vendor of the month: Tiny Thai – an amazing mother-daughter team, creating authentic thai street food.
