The Monthly Round-up: October

Can you believe another month has flown by? October was naturally another busy month for Street Food Warehouse. Here’s a shortlist of what we’ve been up to this month…

1. House of Caws

The weekend of the 26th saw our cheesy street food event, House of Caws, descend on Swansea’s Unit Nineteen. What a delicious weekend it was too! Spicer’s Meat Wagon, The Cheesecake Hideaway, La Vera Pizza, La Ffroga and Mr Croquewich all served up their gooiest cheesy dishes possible for everyone to enjoy.

2. Milford Haven Street Food Festival Vendor Applications

Following on from the success of the Welsh heat of the British Street Food Awards, we’ve decided to go back for a second year with our own street food festival. Vendor applications opened mid-October and the shortlist has been confirmed. We can’t wait to start announcing dates and vendors in the new year!

3. Partnered up with PB Performance

An exciting new performance gym has come to Cardiff, set up by former GB powerlifting head coach and British powerlifting champion. They were after some delicious street food at their event, so we stepped in and have organised Queen Pepiada! Go and check out their launch event on the 11th November here…

4. Swansea Street Food Festival Vendor Applications

Swansea Street Food Festival is one of our biggest and most popular events of the year, so its no surprise that we’re coming back for another year! Vendor applications opened on the 29th October and are open until the 12th November – if you’re wanting to trade at Swansea, make sure to get your application in before the deadline!

5. Haverfordwest

We’ve been in talks and can reveal we’ve been discussing some very exciting new ventures coming next summer. All will be revealed so watch this space!
